You are aware right.... That where the Flames currently sit, it is impossible for them to pick in the first 2 spots... Plus obviously the pick would have conditions like being top 10 protected....

It doesn’t matter Chychrun isn’t reliable enough to trade away multiple picks and not to mention they are likely not competing for a few years which would make retaining him nearly impossible.

No one knows what Calgary is doing... My guess is they are still hoping toi compete next season. Heard ownership nixed a deal to send Markstrom to NJ.... Sold some pkayers off but are still within playoff reach. If they do go into rebuild mode they definitely don't make the deal. However if they are planning on re-tooling in the offseason I could see them interested because he does come cheap for one more year.
