Description
What do you think of this framework? Maybe some minor pieces or picks involved somewhere as well but this being the base.

Boston gets their C and probably extend him.

Canucks get their winger and also probably extend him.

Pittsburgh gets their 2 prospects in Lysell and Podkolzin plus a roster player that they might look to extend as well.

I'm not big on Pod or Lysell. But I do like DeBrusk more than most.

I'm not huge on those two either but they do fit the mold of what Pittsburgh is reportedly looking for (I know there are conflicting reports). Both guys are former 1st round picks that are probably ready for full time roster spots next season and would definitely inject some youth into the lineup.

Debrusk is also younger than a lot of Pittsburgh's players and would be a roster player coming back that doesn't signal to the locker room that they're completely giving up on this season.

They should completely give up on this season. I'd prefer they flip DeBrusk.

they should not give up in this season per say, we need to win to make the pick to SJ worse, we sell off assets and get younger but if we can extend debrusk, id try to.

However, I still think this package is a bit light, Id prefer Raty over Podkolzin and would add a pick or 2

Not a fan of any of these teams and don't have a ton of info on the situation, but man that would be a crazy framework for a deal. Never seen anything like that that I can remember with so many big-name pieces involved in a 3-way trade. That would be insane and so much fun.

Pittsburgh gets two high-ceiling AHL guys that look to be pushing for the NHL very soon, plus a good middle-sixer with time to decide whether to extend or flip him.
Vancouver spends a quality asset to go from a great rental to an elite rental.
Boston gets their center now, upgrading the current roster and without spending picks.

Very creative, I like it. Seems like a fit and a decent framework.
