We don't really need either of these players, but I guess I would take them if offered at that price, at least Toffoli. I'm hesitant about Parayko's long term contract.

Pardon? Why wouldn't Winnipeg need a top 4 RD and a top 6 winger who PKs and PP

You already know you're not getting Parayko. You can certainly have Faulk, Krug, Leddy or any combination of the three for that. And if it was up to me, you could certainly have Schenn for that. Let's just leave poor Colt alone for five minutes.

2nd best defense in the league doesn't need any changes. Top 6 forwards set with addition of Monahan. Not like Toffoli has zero value, but the Jets shouldn't feel the need to spend top assets when the top 6 is already good. If we make any additions it should be depth.

I like the Toffoli trade and if hes available i think he's exactly what the jets need. I imagine the Devils want a first for him, but the jets shouldnt do that.
