Description
SJS-NYI

Duclair has been a good suggestion for the Islanders to get. Isles give up Wahlstrom and Bolduc, two young NHL players who would fit on a rebuilding team.
---

CBJ-NYI

With Nelson moving to wing, Isles trade for Roslovic, who can play both C and RW.

---

BUF-NYI

Isles reunion with Okposo, who can play bottom-6 RW with Fasching being out.

---

Martin and Clutterbuck both sit. If Nelson moves back to wing, the forward lines could be:

Nelson-Horvat-Barzal
Duclair-Pageau-Palmieri
Lee-Roslovic-Okposo
Engvall-Cizikas-Holmstrom

Why not? Bolduc isn't playing. He's a good trade chip so we can move less draft picks.

I'd prefer to hold on to one of Wahlstrom/Bolduc and sent a mid round pick or something along those lines instead and just remove the 7th coming back. I don't hate the Roslovic move and think I've made a similar move in an AGM but the more I think about it, it isn't really necessary to give up assets to fill a 4th line slot where Clutterbuck has been serviceable

He has good potential, not given a chance this year at the NHL level. He reminds me how Pelech looked the first time he came up with the big club. He's a good mobility, heavy shot and you can't teach size - 6'4 210. These big body guys take a little more to develop. I think he can be a 2nd pairing d-man in a couple of years. If I'm dealing him its for a young controllable forward, not a guy like Duclair and you are adding Wahlstrom too. Nah.....Wahlstrom, I want to trade to LA for Kaliyev

The kind of need to keep him as a cheap LD3 option for next year since with the limited cap space they have even a moderate UFA deal for Reilly or Aho probably prices them out of the Isles plans.
