It's a fairly average offer for Jake.
Fact is someone is going to offer up a hell of a deal because they all realize their windows are closing.
You can look at 2 teams in VGK and NYR and that core is aging. It's now or never. It's not just the cost of Jake it's the fact they can't replace those aging players and a prospect or two isn't going to change that.
You got to win while you can. Otherwise they might as well sell their pieces too.

The Kings have zero cap space to fill out their full roster. When everyone is healthy the have $200,000 for a 21 man roster. Not enough cap to even have a complete 23 man roster. Yet, you want them to trade for a $5m winger? I think not!
