Don't see Detroit being a buyer for Markstrom and especially not at that price.
Lights and palhal liked this.

Calgary has absolutely no interest in taking on Husso. The reasons for moving Markstrom would be to free up a spot for Wolf and to free up Marky' 6 mil cap space not to bring in a worse goalie making almost as much.

At any rate the trade deadline has passed so this would be an offseason move now. Detroit could simply buy Husso out in the summer.

Sharks just shipped out a LD because they have too many. I can't see them being interested, but Grier is our GM.

So you'd have to take Eklund back instead of the AHL/ECHL goalie from the Burns trade.

Trading a 1st for a 34 year old definitely seems like a Steve Yzerman move...

Taking on a cap dump like Husso and practically giving away Markstrom seems like a Bonehead Brad move.
