You’ll see in the offseason that he won’t be. There’ll be multiple options in the offseason for teams to go after and Markstrom will be worth less in the summer than he could’ve got at this deadline

But if Saros is made available it's practically certain some team will pay the price to get him with a nice long extension. Those three are worth more than any of the rest you named. Ulmark is the best of the rest you named but with only 1 more season before he's UFA he'd just be an rental. Would you really want to gamble on him or any of the other cheaper options?

Oh Ik Saros is gonna cost more than Markstrom. My offer for Saros is Holtz, Casey, Schmid, 2025 1st for Saros. The Devils would likely look to have an extension attached to a Markstrom deal
