I do think it's still possible. But I don't see them taking his cap hit, unless it were under Suzuki. So if LA retains 775k, I think they would consider it.

Dubois with 775k retention for the Winnipeg 1st. Could work out for both teams.

Why? What’s best case scenario? Play to his contract, worse case way too big of risk over reward, might as well reward from within or have the cap for a ufa you can’t live without. Would need one hell of a gift to take that cancer on, how many cities til it makes it the player is the issue?
