Description
Companion ACGM to my earlier post identifying positions of need.

No trades, just free-agent signings. Treliving could make minor adjustments to the bottom 6 via trade, though (except McMann). And extra cap space is available by burying Ryan Reaves.

I tried to be as realistic as possible, with no premature Easton Cowan or Fraser Minten deployment, some leftover cap space in case I'm off on someone by half a million, and no pie-in-the-sky ripoff trades. I did give the UFA signings one more year than might seem prudent because I kept the AAV down a little that way.

I assume Lily gets 3M + - I know you signed him for 1 year but I doubt that's the contract he sings. It would really help our cap situation if he does though. So I wouldn't complain.

I really don't like the terms on Demelo and Walker. Caps are fine though. They are both #4 dmen. 4 years max is what I would give them, based on their age. But this is probably what it would take.

I signed him for one season because I believe that two carries him straight to free agency, and I don't think that Toronto is ready to give him a long-term deal yet. As to amount, I don't see what he's done to earn more than a modest raise. But of course I can be educated.

Walker's the one guy im just not sold on and also seems the guy who goes against what you want in the top 4 come playoffs.

And Domi coming back be 50/50

I think that Domi is a better "keep" than Bertuzzi.
