Description

Granato replaced by Craig Berube. Add some two-way skill and veteran leadership to the lineup with Stephenson. Joshua and Lafferty add some sandpaper and jam. Kulich, Benson and Savoie rotate throughout the lineup as needed. Not enamored with toughness on blue line but Desharnias brings some size and toughness to depth. Top trade bate are: Joker, Clifton. Rosen and 2024/2025 1st round picks to get right handed D or veteran scoring winger that plays with grit.

Granato is not going toget fired. They won’t be able to get any free agents to sign in Buffalo. They are going to have to trade for players that don’t have trade protection.

Stephenson is an interesting idea,
but it think we’ll have to give him more $$ and term to get him to sign here- he should have quite a few offers

Interesting ideas. Stephenson, Joshua, and leferty would help round out the bottom 6. Benson has a spot, it's just his. Savoie and kulich can be first players called up for injury, and they can make their case to stay then. That leaves kulich, savoie, ostlund, and rosen as high value prospects that could be moved to strengthen something else, plus with all of the lefties on d, Samuelsson or ryan johnson could also be available.
