That’s obviously A LOT for just one year of Nelson
We’d be better off with someone a little younger who could be here a bit longer

But it is a good looking group

Nelson is a great player but he doesn't fit the Sabres' timeline, he only has one year remaining, and that's a ton to give up for a 3C

Good point. But giving up a 2024 1st and a 4th-liner for one year Nelson is market value whether this off season or at the 2025 TDL

Calling Krebs a 4th liner is disingenuous
Even if he was still on the “4th” line- he’s not- he has more value than your typical line 4 player

And it looks like we are gonna miss the playoffs,
so that’s gonna me a pretty valuable pick
