Hawks easily decline. They won't be buyers this off season. If the Canucks want to free up that cap space, they can fork over a 2nd. Or you can just plug Mikheyev in where you have Duclair, since he likely re-signs in Tampa.

It’s amazing how many times the same proposals are posted on this site, the answer is always the same from the large majority of Hawks fans… if you are looking to free up cap space, the Hawks will definitely entertain those ideas IF they are compensated fairly. In some cases they may even be willing to take on a player for FC but it is extremely unlikely they are going to pay for someone else’s cap dump.
