Arvidisson will be 31 in April. Way too long term.

Just out of curiosity, since it doesn't affect your roster, why do you think that Cicek, Johansson, Karlsson, McDonough, McWard and Woo would accept less than their Qualifying Offers?

I think it varies given term, NHL money vs minors, etc.

Cicek with a one year deal, I could see why that would be a question but maybe he'd get higher minors salary by not going QO.

I don't think he's fallen off a cliff. But if that's the what the team sees, I could see him walk in FA. So, this deal represents that I think he's good and that I think he will still have a good market.

Ya, term might be long a on Arvidsson but I think it's a good line. Willing to risk it.
