Not only that but Parise already said this is his last trip on the tracks. Just trade Girard and you will be all set to make something happen or even trade him and Manson

Does Mittelstadt really have that strong of a case to get more than $5m on a 2 year deal?

Who knows. I don't think he will look to take a deal so it could come down to arb. If they gave a more accomplished (edit lower ceiling) Colton 4m to be a flex 2/3c, then Im guessing they budget 6m for some term. Will be a curious case to follow
