I think the value is there, but Conroy did an absolutely marvelous job rounding out some real blueline depth in Calgary. Weegar and Anderson very clearly anchor that group.

Where Chabot could do the same thing as Weegar, there simply is no longer a need for Brännström.

Further, Markstrom's contract lines up perfectly for Wolf taking the reigns full time. Zero reason for Calgray to take on Korpisalo and a longer term.

Markstrom and Weegar decline, They're not waiving for an Ottawa team that's just barely out of a rebuild.

FYI Calgary would have zero interest in Joonas Korpisalo they would just go with Vladar and Wolf.
