Description

With the Coyotes moving to Salt Lake, Bjugstad is likely now available for trade (he only signed in Arizona because he's from there). He was happy to accept a trade to the Oilers last time, I'm sure he would be again.

I think a guy like Bertuzzi could definitely be on Ken Holland's radar if Toronto doesn't re-sign him before free agency. He's Canadian, and with his prior controversies, Alberta seems like a good place for him.

Meh, Bert is 29 and right around the age where players his style sharply decline. I'd rather not.
PS, I wouldn't be surprised if Kane and Ceci aren't on next years roster.
PPS, I would love Bjugstad back. Always wanted to keep him. I'm sure we could of found a way to keep him, if we didn't sign Janmark or Erne, but oh well.

I could definitely see Ceci being moved if they can find the right upgrade. I think he would've been moved at the deadline this season, had the right dman been available. But pickings are slim for right shot dmen this off-season.

And I think you're right about Bertuzzi, but the contracts into late 30s are Hollands specialty

Not bad we need an upgrade at D more than we need a guy like Bertuzzi though.

Also, I don’t like that goalie tandem - too inexperienced. If Skinner struggles and Roddy isn’t ready for prime time we’re sunk.
