Description
Forward lines can be done many different ways. I recognize the odds are that Cowan doesn't make the team out of camp. But time will tell!

This D group is NICE!

Canucks pass easily. Niemela and a 1st doesn’t get it done on its own, then you’re also sending us a cap dump

Canucks would also give Hronek that contract rather than trading him

I personally view Kampf as having slight positive value. 3rd to 5th round pick. Neutral at worst. I don't see him as being a cap dump. Very serviceable bottom 6, defensive C. But fair enough if you think this offer is not enough.

I don’t understand why you wouldn’t think better strategy would be to sign Roy + another FA RHD (say DeMelo @ $4.25M) & save $3M + keep our picks & promising prospect.
Hronek is a good player, but not that good

To be fair - I make a lot of AGMS and do similar to what you suggested often. Just wanted to play around with a Roy + Hronek option. This is the best dgroup we may have ever had. Our d group needed more physicality and scoring all year. They added physicality at the deadline but not scoring. This keeps the defensiveness and physicality and size but adds more scoring. Hronek would be a great add to help boost the offense from our D, which we could benefit from.
