PLD and Kane are effectively a wash. Locker room cancer is so much worse from Kane (this is coming from a guy who is no fan of PLD, so I'm not discounting his shenanigans, but Kane is on a completely different level). But PLs contract is 2.5mil too much and for much longer.

But Gavrikov and Nurse is laughable. I'd argue Gavrikov is the better defender, and that's not even bringing into the fact that he costs 4mil less.

Oilers would need to add, but Kane would enough for LA to say no outright. There isn't a deal that I could see where LA would ever entertain bringing in Evander Kane.
