I don't see Detroit being a buyer for Johansson and also if you feel that his 2M cap hit doesn't provide value, then we don't want him.

Here's the thing with Jojo. He still definitely has the ability to be a 40+ point player, something about this year just seemed off with him. I still don't know if y'all would want to take him, but he has the ability to be a steal at 2m. Also has the ability to be a waste of a roster spot tho. Its kinda a toss up.

I think we would be more inclined to just play one of young guys in that spot. We need a true top 6 forward, not a bottom 6 one. We have a few players like him and unless Minnesota was going to take Fabbri back, probably not worth it for us. Just don't think a deal can be made with Detroit but maybe there is another team he would waive to.

He still has NHL legs, but every other part of his game is gone..especially the effort! He played like he didn’t care the vast majority of the season!
