Description
My Logic:

PHI:

Philadelphia isn't a playoff team right now, and they're going to have a fantastic D core, and with Patrick and Couturier down the middle their main area of weakness when they're ready to contend will be the wings. Simmonds is probably due for a big extension that Philly shouldn't get involved with that. This way they get a great prospect in Sprong, and a 1st round draft pick. They also have to take back Hagelin but his cap is basically identical to Simmonds. While I know Simmonds is a fan favourite this gives Philly the chance to land a prospect with top 6 potential to grow along with the young core.

OTT:

Ottawa is looking to reshuffle their team and probably won't be able to afford Brassard in a couple years. In this trade they get two NHLers, Cole who I think Ottawa would probably love given the uncertainty of all their other defenseman and his playing style fitting in their system, and Sheahan who could play in the bottom six. With those two they get 2 second round picks, one with the potential of becoming a first and a goalie prospect.

MIN:

Minnesota finds themselves outside of the playoffs and don't seem to be using Cullen a lot. Pit acquires their favourite 4th line veteran for a low pick.

FLA:

This one was a little thrown together but there were rumours of them moving him and he might be a good fit. Honestly any cheap defenseman to help with depth that can be acquired with multiple low picks works.

I don't watch the Penguins so lines aren't exactly super important but with these moves they're so deep and they're set up to compete for the cup in the next 2 years. The future doesn't matter its all about now.

Not bad actually imo. The only problem with the flyers deal is that Simmonds only scores on special teams. We need even strength scoring.

Trades seem pretty fair. The only downsides to this are the fact that Pit and philly wouldn't do business. They had to go through tampa last year to get streit.
Then they wouldn't pick until the 6th round this year. If possible it would be preferred to swap a few of the picks for other years.
