As a Caps fan, I wouldn’t give up any picks for Alzner. He was awful last year, and the situation is only worse now.

I could see both Plekanec (Jets/Blues) and Patches (Nash/Blues/Hawks) end up in the Central Division.

byrons low cap vs high goal scoring gives teams like STL and TBL a bidding war for depth .
people under value byron but on a third line for STL he could hand TBL their assess.

personally i think Byron ends up on a team like STL for Barbashev ,Jaskin and a conditional pick.
(to many prospects rotating wingers on left for STL, a Byron would solidify their left side with Steen and Sobotka )
