Description
Johnson wants out right now. If Chicago truly wants to be a playoff contender, I believe they need a bit of an upgrade on their blueline. Anisimov should be returning from injury real soon and would have to waive his NMC. He would also be reunited with his countryman Panarin, maybe sparking a poor CBJ PP as well as providing center depth. One huge issue going forward is AA's cap hit with the Jackets needed to extend Panarin, Jenner, Zack and Bob all within the next year or so. (Ideally, I would love for the Hawks to acquire Boone Jenner in this trade but that might be asking too much.).

This is a terrible deal... Jack Johnson coming in is a good idea but you are "robbing peter to pay paul"... losing Forsling would be disastrous as he is developing as one of our top 4 d men especially alongside his countryman in Rutta who you hope to resign next year. Also part of the reason our D struggle is because or poor play at center. If you trade Ani you better be getting another centerman back in the deal.

I hear you, that is why I also would love Jenner to come to Chicago and center Kane and Schmaltz. As far as Anisimov goes, has he actually mattered when it really counts? Chicago has a host of issues, directly related to cap mismanagement from the clown in your avatar! I would say Anisimov is about the most movable part on their roster, if not now than certainly when his NMC is gone on 7/1. Of, also you may be confusing Forsling with Kempny, who actually is Rutta's countryman. Besides, I would rather keep Oesterle over Forsling, all things considered at this point. Thanks for your reply.

I just posted a deal I think would work... everyone is forgetting Dubsinsky is upset in Columbus also they took away his "A" and cut his minutes. I say bring him over in the deal with JJ. JJ is good friends with Kane and Dubsinsky is a stud in the faceoff dot. You can unite him with Kane for a USA combo.

I did see your team and commented favorably. Dubinsky would be a great addition! Again, the trouble is his cap hit. Anisimov could perhaps be dealt in the summer with Doobs easily replacing him. (Oh how I hate Seabrook's contract!).

First of all, grader...where have you been?!?!?!

I d prefer not to trade forsling even if we do keep osterle...i know, no one said trade him... having both and developing both players help keep the cap lower for longer. Seeing the other comments about dubs...i guess I'll have to look at that post. I'm just weary about the salary. Torts doesn't like AA. NY used him as a LW. The BJs didn't even consider him the prize piece when he was traded to the hawks. AND...CLOWN??? He's not perfect, but he has made many good trades. Jeremy Morin is now Anthony duclair. Trading away saad is now saad and AA. Trading away Clendening is now forsling and Clendening. Bowman is doing to good job signing players like Panarin and rutta. He does need to show more restraint with contracts though.
