Description
Trading Rick Nash is a given for the Rangers at this point. Clearly his value is not crazy high but his name alone will allow the Rangers to get a decent return for him especially eating half his salary for the rest of the year. Similar to the Eric Staal trade a few years back. Nash isn't having as good of a year as the (struggling) Eric Staal had that year which is why he isn't getting as big of a return but a 2nd round pick and prospect is reasonable. If anything, change the 2nd to a 3rd round pick but Nash will get a decent return.

Grabner is someone the Rangers should look to re-sign in the offseason. However his value is way too high right now as a UFA to not trade him. Over the last 2 years he has 45 even strength goals, 4th in the league during that time. He also dramatically helps any PK that he is on and Dallas is 15th in the league on the PK (lowest amongst Western conference playoff teams)

Perfect world, Brendan Smith gets traded as well but that's a much more difficult move to make with they way he's played and his contract. Saw talk (from fans, no real substance to it) that Rangers should try to swap Smith for Jack Johnson now that he wants out of Columbus but I don't see CBJ doing that.

If McDonagh or Zuccarello get traded, it won't be until the offseason. Would rather not see them go, but can see them both being moved for the right price.

Sorry but whenever I think of Staal and Nash in the same thought, I have to also first consider Crosby... aw, never mind...

Is this relevant at all? Is this necessary? I bet you forget the 2 years before that one round where we beat you. One in 5 games, the other coming back from 3-1. Get off my post if you're just gonna be a troll

Some contender team has to have an injury even to consider making a trade for Nash. Until that happens, does he really have much value? For instance, who does Nash replace in the Tampa lineup?

Dude, lighten up, man! I was referring to the band Crosby, Stills and Nash.

Cory Conacher, Ryan Callahan, or Chris Kunitz. Doesn't necessarily have to be Tampa either, I just think they could be a good fit.
