Isn't this just more fascination that a player is RHD....so therefore is better any other Dman? Do the Leafs really want Demers for 3.5 years? Apparently his play has slipped. Demers had a NTC and was in demand last year but waived NTC to play in Arizona. Maybe he wants to just play a regular season. I know the Leafs aren't giving up much, but geez, let's get a good player to man the 3rd pairing RHD, I just don't think it's Demers. (who is on IR)
