Too much uncertainty about Fabbri. Can he come back to his pre-injury level? Can he really play center? I don't think him and a 2nd alone is enough for Pacioretty.

Fabbri is a good jump off point to this trade. Throw in someone like Gunnarsson, Schmaltz or Walman plus a middle pick (2nd or 3rd) and this would be good. Montreal receives a couple good nhl ready young prospects and opens some cap relief for their rebuild.

Blues keep their young core intact and add a 2nd line player with patches.
