oilers would trade rhn if it meant cap space benefits. brown is a steady winger and can kill penalties. leivo has some potential. oilers save 3m and netted one more forward position. may not be ideal return for rhn, but for term and cap space, it might about the best the oilers could get. the leafs might have to add, goalie sparks was suggested earlier

first thought: I like Brown a lot, and as you said Leivo has some potential but there's no way your getting RNH for them.

but then again...Larsson-Hall, Strome-Eberle, so who the hell knows...

The mention of cap space along with horrible value contracts across the board makes me feel this isn't very well thought through. Also, it's about time we stop trading down in terms of talent.

the only reason I believe that rhn should be traded is that oilers would more cap space. to me he's a valuable oiler either at lw or centre.
