I think Bobby Would Thrive in Arizona. all the Pressure of playing in Canada would be off, and he could just focus on hockey.

Ryan was good for a short period of time, but certainly isn't worth his contract. Spend the 7.25m elsewhere and have a better team.

Yeah don't see Bobby Ryan waiving for Arizona, And this team is hardly any better then the basement dwellers they're now.

There's a difference between being able to afford the cap hit and being able to afford the salary in actual cash. The Coyotes internal budget wouldn't allow for taking on the Ryan contract without some other moves. As is, I would estimate this roster to be about $5M over. And I imagine they send Zadina back if they draft him.
