Description
2 Games left, one against Sharks, final against St Louis....realistically need to pick up 3 out of a possible 4 points to seal the deal.

Based on current line up, can this team get the job done?

Gonna be a dog fight and the Top line needs to get going again if they have a chance

Hopefully Barberio can be effective. I like what you did by putting Ghetto into the rookie line and moving JT out. It should be an interesting next couple of games and here's hoping for some hope! Also, I'm working on a roster for 2018-2019 centered around John Carlson, Calvin de Haan and Evander Kane. Sprinkle in a couple of trades and it just might work out to be a legit roster.

We can live in hope. Personally I think they'll blow it, probably in the last game against STL, leaving us on tenterhooks 'til the bitter end. However, I don't think it will necessarily be a bad thing. Whilst a bit of playoff experience would be good, Avs fans have to accept this year has been way better than expected and the team IS still in rebuild, like it or not. I'd hate to see the management do something daft next year on the back of it (I don't think Joe will, we've seen how patient he can be with the Duchene trade). With Varly AND EJ gone for the rest of the season effectively, I think it will be tough. Two players don't make a team but unless Bernier goes hot again & MacKinnon starts scoring again I think it will be a major struggle and they (Varly & EJ) are two very important pieces to be missing this time of year.
