It's so rare we agree, Nick. Yes. One star for that.

But also one star for replacing the most surprisingly good defenseman in the NHL, Miller, with the most surprisingly meh defenseman in the AHL, Franson.

And for taking a quick, puck moving defensive corps and sticking the Leafs' third pair tough guy right in the middle, where Deryk Engelland already sticks out like a sore thumb.

And for trading Eric haula for a 3rd.

And for using all the cap space on an equal 2nd line center, and Toronto's fourth line tough guy, Leo Komarov.

And for pretending to sign Michael Grabner, after back to back 28 goal seasons, at $2M, with a three year term.

And one star for giving Lee Stempniak a 2.4M cap hit after a 3 goal season.

But mostly one star for saying "cup run" about Vegas for next year, with all these "improvements," as if they're not somehow many analysts' Western Conference favorites this year, even without Komarov and Polak. That part is just silly.
