Let's do it! I'd package up a good prospect and maybe one of those bottom pairing d. Take on a bottom 6 forward that's at the 2-3 million that is underperforming just to get a little cap relief!!

Carlsson would help a ton. He's a legit #1 dman and he will help wherever he ends up. I just don't know if this team has enough depth on the wings to get far. That seems to be the big thing. So sign Carlsson move nurse, preferably klefbom to get a real scoring winger. Hoffman, skinner someone like that.

You’ll need between 7.5 to 8 million to get Carlson out of Washington. Washington can offer about 7. So he’ll take the discount to stay there.

See I think John Carlson is a very good player but he benefits greatly handing ovie the puck on the power play we dont really have a sniper to do what ovie does I was thinking maybe looking at spurgeon
