Dallas would do that trade. Losing Honka would hurt, but Simmonds would be the perfect add for the Stars top-6. Dallas also has the defensive prospect pool to limit the loss of Honka. I like the trade. Honestly, you can remove the 2nd round pick, and Dallas still does the trade.

Honestly I think Dallas should add but yeah I could see a deal here.

I was honestly considering doing a straight up 1-1 trade for Simmonds/Honka, but the prices for a young RHD who is near NHL ready is high. Plus, despite scoring 24 goals, Simmonds is coming off an injury plagued and relatively ineffective season.
