Description
First, you trade Schlemko and Benn for whatever picks a team accept to give you. Then you try to fix your defense. Montreal's left defense is very bad, so you buyout Alzner who has been a big mistake. Then you trade pacioretty for OEL, you can add a 2nd round pick if Arizona thinks this trade is not fair enough for both sides. I think it's a good trade for both teams, because arizona is going nowhere and they need a goal scorer to play with Keller and a veteran to help this young team. Then De Haan could be a great option behind OEL as a 3rd or 4th defensman. To fix the offense, Tavares is the best option and I gave him a lot of money to compensate for taxes and everything. To sign Tavares, we have to get rid of Shaw's nightmare salary. To do so I retainded a part of his salary. Arizona is a realistic place, because they need veterans and they have a lot of cap space. You can add a 4th or 5th round pick if they want. Filip Zadina is the player Montreal should select, because he has incredible skills to score goals and he could replace pacioretty in a few years. Next year he should be able to run the 2nd line. I think that the trade of galchenyuk vs Reinhart would be benefic to both teams. Galchenyuk has too much pressure on him here and he can't deal with it. Buffalo has many centers so Reinhart who has not developp as much as it was predicted could be a good option for a trade. Maybe a change could help both players to improve their game. Also, with these trades, Montreal doesn't lose picks so they can get few good prospects with their 2nd round picks and fix the lack of young talents.
