Car definitely doesn't need Defense...they have plenty of guys especially young ones. The big 3 will all get more, especially JT at $10.5M. The cap won't be higher then $80M and you're way over and not including bonuses. Don't sign Kovalchuk and you'll be under the $80M cap then you just need to worry about the NTC's

We don't need Kovalchuk, especially with the cap situation you've put the team in. Don't need Thornton either. Or Koekkoek.

Sure dude first off the salary cap isn't increasing to $82 million this year, Maybe $78 million to possibly $80 million at the very most. John Tavares will be resigning with the Islanders and Carlson with the Caps no way Tampa can afford to sign Tavares, Carlson and Kovalchuk to big money then try and sign Kucherov next summer not possible without moving out major money. Plus you've a 20 man roster and no cap space 20 man roster isn't sustainable over the course of the season.
