    O my gosh people stop throwing Buraovsky away for nothing! The kid is a young top6 player! You're trading him away for a 3rd!? You're seriously keeping Orpik over him?! You guys are nuts.

    He's not a top-6 player. He has yet to break 40 points despite being given plenty of chances, and is extremely injury-prone. Caps have plenty of forward prospects who are ready to step up, but no defensive prospects who are NHL-ready.

    You could just not resign Beagle, move Boyd to 4C and NOT TRADE BURRA FOR NOTHING! And still have cap space.

    He would have had 45 points 2 seasons ago if he wasn't hurt. He is still only 23. Has all the skills to be top 6 player. His underlying numbers are fantastic. He's going to tear it up this season.
