Would love to get JT in free agency but if that doesn't happen Leafs should take on a bunch of bad 1 year deals to fill the cap space and gain assets.
I know the Nylander deal is big, I just wanted to give a highest option at 8 years.

I like your Leafs-Sharks deal and have been advocating for the Leafs do make a similar type deal. If I may make a suggestion, include Jake Gardiner in the deal from the Leafs and Justin Braun from the Sharks. All in all, that may be worth a 2nd rounder going to the Leafs instead of the 3rd. I also do like Chris Tierney as our 3C option.

Tierney just scored 40 points. I don't think he'll sign a 1.2m deal.

Also, I don't think the Sharks make that deal. Especially with the cap increase and the likelyhood JT will stay on the Isles. Especially if the Isles go out and get a D and a G.
