I like it, for the most part. JVR is probably a bit overpaid and idk if we really need Roussel, but the rest seems okay

Russell can play and is the sandpaper the team needs considering the team doesn't have anyone like him anymore...Hartman, shaw, etc...maybe by signing him you don't need Wingels so you could sign a 2 million dollar ... etc....but I didn't want too many bigger signings since I wanted to keep this realistic... the Hawks will have their own free agents to sign after this year and will still need flexibility in the cap.

We can’t afford to trade Forsling for a cap dump, I would suggest a lesser prospect that needs a couple years to develop. I would say Dahl, but he showed promise and I’m not all for trading him.

Other things look good, I don’t know if Hayden is a 3rd line guy just yet. Same with DeBrincat on the first line...Ideally I would like to give him more 3rd line minutes against cat fodder compitition.

Forsling isn't a top d prospect.... ...and it's to get Hossa's contract off the books... please don't get into the "he can be LTIR'd" discussion... there are many reasons to trade the contract, which are discussed in multiple articles all over the internet.
