    At this point, the trade with PIT doesn't make much sense. We need to shed salary and by us taking on Beaulieu's contract we save 600k but we need to shed sheary for a pick and not more salary

    agreed.....If anything Pit needs a RHD not another LHD. Or a scoring winger. I would send Sheary for Girgs. Or Sheary, Hags, Humwick (&pick?) for Bogosian ($1mil retained) and Girgs

    ROR fills a need for Minnesota, but I think Dumba is valued a bit higher since he's younger, will cost less, and is our only defenseman with such scoring prowess. You could argue Spurgeon is good two ways and Suter did put up a surprising number of assists this season, but at the very least, I think a reasonable portion of ROR's salary would need to be retained for that trade to work.

    Don't know how good babtiste is ...but unless he's a 20-30 goal stud in future.. Wings say no..unless you spice up offer.. Wings won't trade young cheap good upside players unless its an overpay for us.. Cheers
