Sorry you're upset about a player invoking his CBA right....free agency. I would be more upset about about signing Komarov for 3m X 4 years. That would have been a good deal five years ago.

it's not that he left it's the way he did it. All along he said he was going to bring a cup to long island. Isles went out and got Lou and a cup winning coach in Trotz. What else did you want from us Johnny? Have fun in Toronto and I cannot wait for a playoff series (hopefully) where Barzal scores the overtime winner to send you to the golf course and see the look on your face in the handshake line.

ALSO....DEHAAN IS GONNA WALK....PLEASE PREPARE FOR THAT....AND KOMAROV IS MORE OF A $750,000 x 1 YEAR GUY - RATHER THAN $3,000,000 X 4 YEARS.

the probleme is not Tavares it was your last GM . He was supose to traded him ( last summer or TDL ) or sign him, he did not . Now you lose him for nothing so the probleme is the GM not the player .

They both do respond, those trades arent that far out.
But yeah De Haan is gonna walk, and probably to the Leafs, but atleast you got Komorov
