In the Lightning trade the Sens have to take Callahan’s contract. I think there owner forgets they have a Cap floor to reach and subtracting Karlsson and Bobby Ryan’s contract would screw them over. However, I think Callahan’s contract will have to be dumped to NYR. The only rebuilding team I can see him going to is the NYR

This is not really comparing quality vs quantity. The quality of what Vegas is giving up is very good. Also consider their picks likely to be higher than TB's.

An example of quality vs quantity would be examining what BUF got from STL vs what they should of got for O'Reilly. STL gave up quantity over quality. For example:
STL trades quantity - Thompson, Berglund, Sobotka, 1st, 2nd
STL trades quality - Thomas, 1st, 2nd

Bro that’s what I been trying to tell sen fans on Twitter! They’re won’t listen so now I gotta make trades around what they want. This is what I came of with to please them, but I think the Vegas trade minus one of the d-man is still very good

Apparently Brännström is completely off limits. That was the case with Cody Glass, not sure if that's changed or not, but it seems the Lightning have the edge to acquire Karlsson at this point.
