Panarin and BOB Trade

If Panarin was willing to sign an extension in EDM, I could see this being around the right price for him. Gives CBJ some help down the middle and a nice prospect in Puljujarvi. CBJ kind of in a tough spot with Panarin being on the final year and could walk if traded to a team he doesn't want to play for. I don't see him wanting to go to EDM, meaning no extension and therefore probably not getting this much from them.

I could see him wanting to play with McDavid.

Dunn is a big ask for the Blues if Bobrovsky isn't re-signing... If it was Allen + Dunn or Allen + Fabbri + a lesser prospect, I could see the Blues doing that.

The only thing I don't like is that you're giving the Blues the piece they need for a cup. You give them a Vezina goalie with their defensive core, I understand making your team better long term, but you just made a team in your conference dynamite.

Different conference, now. And I think the Blues still have a ton of question marks at forward, and were counting on several prospects moving up this year. They've got a good wing, a decent center, and yeah, a bunch of solid defenders. But championship teams usually have a couple good wings and centers. Bobrovsky might be a good fit with the Blues, but that's still a big asking price.
