Nice job explaining things. I wonder if Detroit would rather keep Athanasiou and try to move pending UFA Nyquist instead.

I can see the signing of Bernier with the injuries Howie has had lately. I agree concerning Vanek unless Z is LTIRed. I enjoy the off season, seeing how teams tweak and build their rosters, and, of course, the time leading up to the TDL.
