Description

Jake Gardiner led this team's D corps by nearly every major impact. His ability to drive both quantity and quality of chances is exceptional, and he showed last year that he's probably the team's best defensive defenceman. His ability at even strength easily makes him worth keeping. So many people on this site trade him for scraps (Baertschi, Sutter, Tanev and a 2nd for him and Nylander was the worst I've seen.) He's the team's best defender and should be kept if at all possible.
