    If he scores 40 goals with Stastny and re-signs and continue in scoring a lot, he would be like Wheeler than its fine price.. but with that 1st line winger you have you win ****!!

    When you factor in where Vegas got the assets for this trade from, it works out to a 1st, 2nd, 3rd in different years for Karlsson, Pacioretty, and Clarkson's LTIR money. I do that deal any day.

    I thought last years trade for Tatar was really stupid. For a team that talked a lot of crap about building for the future. This idea that they can contend now has really sunk in and they do appear to be throwing out the plan.
    If they win great no one doubts it. If they don't everyone is gonna wonder about what could have been.
    It could also be they draft a whole lot of players and they go no where.
    I will say this about the GM. He's playing to win, not to not lose. I will give him credit for that.
