No, this is not a serious proposal. I thought it would be a fun idea to see what trading all three to the same team would look like. You guys (NYI) have a farm/prospect pool about as deep Ottawa's and two of my favourite (Not Senators) Prospects in Walhstrom and Dobson.
Sens are going for a youth movement, you lost a star in Tavares and get 3 in return for the entire farm. Are you in the game? EA Sports.

Walhstrom, Dobson, Bellows, Sorokin, Wilde, Aho, Beauvillier. For Karlsson, Stone and Duchene.

Ladd and Boychuk to cover Cap issues. Sens have a crowded AHL crease and I feel bad for Hogberg, he's talented but needs time to play.

NYI has 10.5 Mil in Cap Space today + 11.5 from moving Ladd and Boychuk = 22Mil. After this trade there is still 5.3 of the required 7.150 required to resign those three.

Blame Lou for Martin and Komarov, and find your own solution to Clutterbuck and Cizikas and you have another 12.5 Million in space to resign Eberle and Company.

Damn that's an interesting move.

In my opinion that would make Islanders battle for a secure play-off spot, but also giving away two of their prospects from this years 1. round, basically their future top2 D, and 1. line W.

I like the idea man, but holy cow, both organisations would turn around in a second.

Dude Karlsson already stated that he has no desire to sign an extension with the NYI No way i see Karlsson waiving for the Islanders.

no player is going to waive to go to OTT from ANY team, in the NHL UNLESS they become a UFA at seasons end, Aho is a BUST, would need more to get OTT big three with extensions.
