OTT landed a very solid deal here with 3 high end picks including a 1st as well as Tierney who's consistently gotten better accross the board in his brief career hitting new career high's each season and shows a lot of promise. Josh Norris is a Legit Center Pick aswell which were 2nd and 1st round picks themselves . if OTT draft's half as well in the 1st and 2nd as SJS did grabbing Tierney and Norris then its a same bet the OTT will be declared the winner in 2-3 years time just like WPG was in the Kane trade their GM took heat for up until last season .

three high end picks? I agree the deal was fair but they did not get three high end picks.

its just that Karlsson is a top 3 D-man in the NHL and everyone thinks OTT could have got or done alot better.... say maybe Merkley was included in the deal, I would have thought it was a good trade.
Just hope for OTT fans sake that Colorado ends up getting Hughes because that would be a kick in the D**k.
On the bright side OTT got a s**t ton of top prospects.

I said that because ottawa waited to long which brought karlssons trade value lower than what it used to be.
