Description

Tossing some ideas around in my head just curious on other opinions as these are a super work in progress

1. Philly wants him as a third/ fourth line center/pk depth

2. Compher is looking more like a fourth line player, Wilson will be a ufa flip them for a second line winger and third line center

3. Flip an expiring contract for scoring punch and pk depth for a playoff run

4. Pk help and a potential starting goalie for a cup winning goalie, high pick and a similarly over priced defenseman

so helm is one of those super frustrating guys. all those years ago when he showed up we thought hey the next Kris draper. hes always hurt and never turned into the heart and soul player draper was. he has flashes amnd isn't a terrible 3rd line center if he stayed healthy. I like having him on the team but no way Kenny should have payed him what he did for as long as he did. ill take the gudas deal ill even take moulson since its a one year get the money off the books deal. I see him moving for a 4thish around the trade deadline hopefully but idk, I think we may be stuck with him.

Oh how I wish Buffalo needed a couple of LW's and had the cap space. Helm would be great on a third line and Vanek will always get any team 20 goals. Unfortunately with Skinner, Sheary, Berglund, Wilson, Rodrigues they are not in the need of Helm and Vanek.
