Description

Looking at another team on the cusp of a cup run. all they lack is the goaltending. Think the trade is good for both teams. As far as Carter Hart goes, this allows him time to develop for 1 to 2 more seasons in the minors and then can come and play and learn with one of the best goalies in the world.

Additional Details:

The big piece in this trade for the rangers is morgan frost. They get another High end talent at the center position to utilize for the future. the flyers have Hischier and couture so their 1 - 2 punch down the middle is set. the rangers are in a sell now for the future mode so i think it makes sense for them to get pieces for the future. Elliot comes back for salary cap purposes and acts as the rangers interim starter, splitting time with Georgiev.

Half salary retained means that they get hank, who is still an elite goaltender, with a good defense in front of him, for really cheap and allows the flyers to make a push for the cup.
