Description
Allows sharks to keep karlsson, pavelski, and Kreider.

Also allows for a bit higher salary to labanc/meier if needed.

The D would be very thin, but simek, disimone, middleton, and Roy (along with Wood) appear ready to compete for a spot, and ferraro might too. (merkley likely needs two more years).

The forwards would be very solid and chekhovich, gambrell, letunov, chartier, Halb, Gregor, and others would be battling for spots.

also, finding respectable bottom pairing guys usually isnt that hard either by UFA or by trade. Burns/vlasic will be getting older but still good for 23-25 mins/night. karlsson can be 25-28 mins, so the bottom pairing is only needed 10-15 mins. Sounds like a good place to start bringing in kids in a low risk environment.

no interest in karlsson from the rangers, upgrade the 2nd rounder to the first you get from philly or give us a first next year, rangers may even throw in a 3rd rounder. I like the prospects though, especially blichfeld

Karlsson would be more of a salary dump type move to make it work. I dont think Kredier is such a hot commodity that teams are going to throw a solid young NHL dman, a top prospect (leading the WHL scoring easily), and a 2nd rounder for him. MK would be needed to be included for salary reasons, and even then, I think the rangers might need to send a late pick back. No way kreider gets that package along with a 1st rounder. Maybe a 1st and a prospect, or a 1st and a reasonable young dman, but not all 3. He's just a 40-50 pt player with a moderately good deal.
