I don’t think it would even take a 4th to get Schenn since Anaheim waived him with all their d injuries.
Why is Vancouver only retaining $3?
I also think that Dallas trade could be a lower pick.
I do like the trade ideas though and with a little tweaking would like to see them.

Well when salary retention is in play, those higher picks are the convincing points of the deal I feel that make them work. You can only retain up to 50% salary according to the NHLPA cpa agreement.

I understand why you need higher picks for salary retention. What I’m saying is that it’s saying the Canucks are only retaining $3. Was wondering how much they are supposed to be retaining because cap friendly has apparently being screwing that up lately.
