Del Zotto has good advanced stats, could be good for TML. They are definitely in need of D. Vancouver gets ample return the rental, and they may be able to use Borgman better than TML. The trade forces Leafs to shake up the D for the better. Move Dermott up, sit Igor as the 7th D.

I always question if this type of deal is an improvement. First DelZotto has to acclimatize to a new team, then Dermot gets moved to right side, then you have switched the pairings. all that just to bump ozhiganov. Is DelZotto that good to disrupt two pairings of the defence?

Personally, I like the way Ozhiganov has been playing. I'd much rather keep him with Dermott than play 2 D on their off side.
